I begin with a color palette in mind, but even that evolves and takes its own shape as the creation unfolds.Deep reds and embers move across the canvas, speaking to release, transformation, and the courage to let old stories fall away. Yet woven throughout is another story—the persistent presence of green, reminding us that even in seasons of uncertainty, life continues to emerge.Fire and earth speak to one another here. Destruction and renewal. Surrender and becoming. What appears at first to be an ending slowly reveals itself as an invitation to begin again.Like much of my work, this piece doesn’t ask the viewer to find one meaning. Instead, it offers space to pause, notice what rises within, and trust that what is emerging deserves our attention.
